Course Information

Our specialist Web Technology and Security pathway will give you the knowledge and skills you need to manage the challenges that a career in web applications development and security will involve. We will give you real, industry examples to reinforce your theoretical knowledge using our computer facilities.

All computing students study the same modules in the first year, giving you flexibility and choice as you move onto the second year. You will practice programming specific to web applications including issues that may arise in closed networks and open access systems. You will also practice design, programming and optimisation of graphics for 2D platforms.

When you graduate from the HND, you may be able to study an additional year to achieve the BSc (Hons) qualification.
