Studying Criminology with us gives you distinctive approach to learning, drawing on the disciplines of sociology, psychology, history and law. This provides you with a comprehensive introduction to the key theoretical and methodological issues at the heart of the discipline.
Across all years of study you will be exposed to a range of interdisciplinary perspectives relating to crime and criminality. Studying Criminology alongside another discipline offers you a unique experience to gain knowledge and understanding on the study of crime. This may offer an insight into the other discipline and could inform your understanding from a criminological standpoint. If you choose to major with Criminology you will have the opportunity to study a module in your third year that is taught entirely inside a prison.
