Grade 12 graduation
Human Biology 12 with a minimum 'C+' grade, or equivalent
Chemistry 11, or Math 11, or Physics 11, with a minimum 'C+' grade, or equivalent
Applicants with educational documents not from a Canadian or American institution must complete a comprehensive evaluation of education from International Credential Education Service (ICES) in addition to the above admissions requirements. Applicants will be referred to the Department to assess eligibility.
English 12 with a C+ or higher, or
IELTS Academic overall 6.5 (with no band less than 6.0)

Graduates of this diploma acquire the specialized knowledge and competencies comprising the scope of dental technology practice. This program is based on the College of Dental Technicians of BC (CDTBC) required standards of competency for entry to the Dental Technology profession.

Graduates of the program are eligible to sit the College of Dental Technician of BC (CDTBC) after completing the work experience following the two-year-in-school program. Graduates are able to provide complete and partial denture treatment that meets the technical, anatomical, biological and physiological needs of the edentulous and semi edentulous patient.
