Course Information

For entry to the 1st year of an undergraduate degree at the University of Brighton. Your course length is determined mainly by your English language level (UKVI IELTS score or accepted equivalent).

All students take a set of common or similar modules to gain key skills for university. If your course is longer than 2 terms, you’ll take extra modules focusing on one or more of English language, academic skills and basic subject knowledge.

  • IELTS 5.5 course: You can choose to study  2 terms ( start in September 2021 &January 2022) ; 2,5 terms (start in November 2021 &July 2022) or 3 terms (start in September 2021&June 2022)
  • IELTS 5.0 course : You 'll study  2,5 terms (start in November 2021 &July 2022)   
  • IELTS 4.5 course: You will study 3 terms   (start in September 2021&June 2022)
  • IELTS 4.0 course : You will study 3,5 terms ( start in May 2022 & July 2022) or 4 terms (March 2022 &June 2022 )
