Admission Requirements

Entry requirement

  • A typical offer would be DEE at A-Level or MPP at BTEC
  • achieved GCSE Mathematics at grade C/4 or above
  • Equivalences are not accepted, apart from Access applicants who must take 12 credits of Maths Level 2 or 9 credits of Maths Level 3 as part of their Access course.

English requirement

  • IELTS 6.0 (or equivalent) with a minimum of 5.5 in all bands

Course Information

Studying Games Programming will give you the knowledge and skills you need to begin a successful career in the computer games industry as a computer games programmer or continue your studies.

You will focus on the programming side of computer games as well as the entire lifecycle of computer games development from the initial idea through to the final release stage.

All software used on the course is available either free to download or through University licenses, but you will be encouraged to purchase a large portable storage device (USB Memory Stick, or HDD).
