The programme has been structured to develop your knowledge and entrepreneurial skills and enhance your future employability. Upon completion of the Human Resource Management and Business Joint Honours programme you will be able to progress your career in a wide range of organisations stretching across any sector or industry within management, business or HR.
The importance of the theories, concepts, principles and practices through which the functioning, management and development of people can occur is emphasised in this programme. You will explore the HRM function from small businesses through to global corporations. The course introduces all areas of management and business preparing you for a future of making sound operational and strategic decisions which are important as organisations are now demanding higher levels of business related skills. The programme explores people, groups, teams and development and is of considerable general vocational relevance. An understanding of people and the enhancement of personal performance are key features of the requirements of employers in every field.
