You will also become equipped with the knowledge and skills required to become effective logistics and supply chain managers. You will learn to evaluate factors shaping the trading environment, and will produce a project on an issue of particular interest.
The course aims to equip you with the knowledge and skills that you require to become effective logistics and supply chain managers and supervisors. The course not only aims to develop skills in logistics from an international perspective but also provides you with knowledge and understanding of economic and political and financial risk factors affecting the world economy. The course is also suitable for those who may be interested in following a career in transport, supply chain management and commerce in general or those wishing to continue with academic study.
During this course, you will learn about the key aspects and developments in the delivery of international logistics and trade finance. By the end of the course, you will be able to understand and evaluate the factors shaping the international trading environment. This is a one-year course that requires you to study a number of interrelated modules in the field of logistics, finance and management.
We also offer a specialist ‘Business Communication’ module available for international students. In addition, you will be able to choose an issue of particular interest to you and, with the support and guidance of a project supervisor, complete an 8,000 word project.
