This course is focused on preparing you for your future career in marketing with an emphasis on providing you with the skills, knowledge and experience to make a real impact in your career. We do this by providing an engaging learning experience that blends the latest research with the opportunity to apply it to real life business challenges.
Our tutors bring with them a wealth of industry experience and classroom sessions are enhanced through the use of guest speaker ensuring that all learning is relevant to today’s challenges. Recent speakers have included the Digital Marketing Manager of SEAT cars, the Brand Experience Manager of O2, the Managing Director of craft distillery as well as a local entrepreneur who employs over 100 staff and exports to 27 countries.
Partnerships and Accreditation
We have close links with the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM), the world’s leading professional organisation for marketing, and are accredited as an official “Graduate Gateway” university. This means that our academic content is mapped against the CIM to ensure we are delivering the skills and knowledge that employers require in the competitive world of work.
Upon successful completion of your BSc Marketing Management degree at 2:2 level or above, you could be eligible for exemptions from the CIM Level 4 Certificate in Professional Marketing or CIM Level 6 Diploma in Professional Marketing. You have to register within three years and complete within five years after graduating with us. To obtain the Level 4 or Level 6 you would need to register to study the remaining modules with the CIM.
