We require demonstration of proficiency in English for most international applicants. Submit official English test scores with your application unless you’re from Australia, Bermuda, Canada, Commonwealth Caribbean, New Zealand, the Republic of Ireland, South Africa or the United Kingdom. We accept the following:
TOEFL internet-based score of 71+
IELTS score of 6.0+
Duolingo score of 100+ (tests taken before July 1 – minimum score of 51)
PTE score of 50+
We only can accept scores received directly from the testing organization. We review on an individual basis any case where an applicant’s score is below our recommended testing levels.

The skies could be unpredictable. But, as an air traffic control (ATC) major, you’ll learn to manage the unforeseen. From radar and mapping to weather and traffic, you’ll learn an array of control systems to help keep pilots and passengers safe in their travels.
In the air traffic control degree program, you’ll learn about aviation safety and human factors, weather, emergency cabin training, operations, aircraft models and more. And, you won’t be alone in the process. Our faculty are aviation professionals with advanced academic degrees and flight instructor ratings. They’re here to help you conquer your dreams—whatever they may be. This major qualifies graduates for the rATP at 1000 hours.
