The Pharmaceutical industry, and associated industries such as Cosmetics, Agrochemicals and Veterinary Medicine, is one of the most research led sectors in the UK. Over the next 10 years it is expected that there will be a significant shortfall in suitably qualified entrants to this industry as it attempts to maintain its current level of growth. In a number of areas such as Systems Pharmacology and Medicinal Chemistry a projected major skills gap has been identified. In this course we shall provide appropriate training in both the traditional topics associated with pharmaceutical research in addition to those that are required to for the future of the Pharmaceutical Industry.
