Take a leading role in construction by gaining the skills and knowledge required to act as a supervisor.
You must be working in a supervisory role in the construction industry to undertake this course.
You'll develop the expertise to supervise small teams on building sites, including sub-contractors, and to manage projects in a timely way. You'll also learn about drawings and specifications, employment relationships, interpersonal conflict, site safety plans and written communication.
By the end of the programme you will be adept at:
communicating effectively with site staff
applying health and safety principles on site
supervising building and administration processes
applying conflict resolution strategies

This programme is delivered at Ara to people employed in the industry. Completion of this qualification gives you the skills to take on more responsibility on construction projects. You could become a site supervisor or site foreman or even set up your own business.
