If you have a degree in nursing or a health-related area and you'd like to extend your knowledge and skills for advanced practice in the health sector, this six month online programme will equip you with the confidence and skills to plan and co-ordinate multiple, complex patient care demands in your chosen specialisation.
The postgraduate certificate in health science offers a selection of courses designed to meet the needs of health practitioners, health sector managers and other professionals whose practice has a focus on health.
The programme is characterised by the option of advanced study with a specific health science endorsement, requiring a foundation of undergraduate knowledge and skills. Some endorsement options exist - Child and Family Health, Elder Health (available from 2018) - however the certificate can also be completed without a specific endorsement.
To achieve the certificate you need to complete two of the available courses within two years.
* This programme includes compulsory two-day onsite workshops at the City campus for some courses.
