Prince Edward Island is one of the four Atlantic provinces of Canada, located on the east coast of the country. It is the smallest province in Canada with a population of nearly 200,000 and is named after Prince Edward Augustus, Duke of Kent and Strathearn of England. Its largest city and also capital is Charlottetown.

The weather in Edward is cool in springs, warm in summers and the air is comfortable with average temperatures (the highest summer temperature is 30 degrees Celsius). In autumn, the weather is pleasant although there may be occasional snowstorms, while in the winter there is usually heavy rain and snow.

The province of Edward has a long coastline, so its main economic sectors are agriculture, aquaculture and fishing. With a prime location located among other Canadian provinces such as Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Newfoundland, PEI offers excellent opportunities for economic development and access to potential markets in Europe and North America by sea, road and air.

Besides, the province's tourism industry is also very developed with many majestic natural landscapes. Here you will feel like you've just entered a brilliant fairy garden with vast potato fields or pristine fishing villages etc., all embellishing a peaceful and romantic PEI.

Besides the developed economy, PEI also has an extremely developed education system. All citizens under the age of 20 will receive free education from kindergarten to Year 12. On Prince Edward Island, there is the only public-funded university, Prince Edward Island University. This is one of the most historic universities in Canada and one of the 10 universities with the best facilities in Canada.
